Here are a few Frequently Asked Questions that you may find helpful. If you still have questions, please email us.

Where is Ryker’s Ridge Baptist Church located, and when do you meet?

  • Our location and service time information are available here.

How do I need to dress?

  • At Ryker’s Ridge, we want you to “come as you are”. If that means that you would prefer to wear casual clothes, wear casual clothes. If you would prefer to wear more formal clothes, that is fine too. You will see a variety of styles of clothing at our gatherings.

What about my kids?

  • We welcome your children! Indeed, we love families, and we would be delighted to have your family join us! We have  a vibrant and growing community of young families at our church. As a result, we offer childcare during the worship service; we provide nursery services for children under 2 years of age and Extended Session for children ages 2 to 4 years. We seek to provide a clean and safe environment for our children. We have a fantastic group of leaders who are equipped to care for your children. Prior to the worship service and during Sunday School hours, there are classes and Bible studies available for your children (newborn-6th grade) and students (7th-12th grades). Learn more about our Children’s Ministry here and our Student Ministry here.

What is a worship service like?

  • Our worship services are intended to challenge those involved to submit their minds, their hearts, and their wills to King Jesus. Indeed, we hope that you will leave each worship service with a greater knowledge of God and His Word, a greater love for Him, and, thus, a greater resolve to live for Him. Our worship team uses a large variety of instruments to lead in heart-stirring worship that draws from both traditional and contemporary elements. Our hope is that through connecting strong gospel-centered lyrics with moving instrumentation and vocals, you will be challenged in your thinking and moved in your affections such that you have come to love the Lord with both your mind and your heart. The sermon will be an expository message that helps explain and apply the Word of God to life. Indeed, you will be encouraged, challenged, and strengthened in your walk with God. Regardless of which pastor is preaching, the message will be delivered by someone trained in theology and committed to the complete truthfulness of the Bible. You can find out more information about our Worship Ministry here and listen to some of our pastors’ messages here.
